Athena-chan Returns

What’s with the blog site title?

When I was 16 I had a blog called Athena-chan. Back then I titled it that because I thought Athena the Greek goddess was cool and “chan” was supposed to be indicative of my Japanese identity or whatever lol.

I had some good times with that blog. I would write about my high school life, post photos from summer camp, crushes, song lyrics, you name it.

Unsurprisingly, I also got made fun of a lot by my friends for my dorky little blog. So of course, the only natural thing to do is to start your blog back up again in your 30’s and title it “Athena-chan Returns”.

I wish I could tell my 16 year old self that I will only get more awesome over the years hahaha
